PTC (NASDAQ: PMTC) today announced it has received a $2.2 million order for its flexible engineering solution, including Pro/ENGINEER software and services, from KUHN, a world leader in farming equipment and accessories. Mr. Sieber added that his company completed an extensive evaluation of CAD offerings from various vendors before selecting PTC. "We're confident Pro/ENGINEER will also help ensure effective management of company knowledge re-use by accelerating and streamlining the design processes across our design and manufacturing operations. As a result, we can better focus on development of new products and services that will meet our customers' needs."

"PTC offers a large array of capabilities that afford manufacturers, like KUHN, the flexibility to make wholesale design changes without running high risks," said C. Richard Harrison, president and CEO of PTC. "We are confident that the use of PTC's flexible engineering solutions will help KUHN strengthen their competitive edge in the farm machinery industry by reducing time and cost."
