Finally, Intra-Cellular Therapies crashed 64%. The company announced late yesterday that its results from a phase 3 clinical trial of its schizophrenia drug ITI-007 failed to show any separation from the placebo with respect to its primary endpoint of producing improvement in total patient scores on the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale metric. The trial did show that ITI-007 was better than rival drug risperidone in terms of safety and tolerability, and Intra-Cellular speculated that an unusually high placebo response at certain sites might have affected trial results adversely. Intra-Cellular expects to continue to study ITI-007 and remains optimistic that the entirety of its research could provide enough evidence that the drug is effective in treating schizophrenia. Nevertheless, investors are concerned that the failure could prevent FDA approval in the future even if other studies have more favorable results.
In our Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials, ITI-007, has demonstrated improved sleep maintenance, antipsychotic efficacy, and clinical signals consistent with reduction in negative symptoms associated with schizophrenia, depression and anxiety, and other symptoms associated with impaired social function. ITI-007 exhibited antipsychotic efficacy in a randomized, double-blind, placebo and active controlled Phase 2 clinical trial in patients with an acutely exacerbated episode of schizophrenia. Our preclinical studies and initial clinical trials demonstrate that ITI-007 has shown evidence of addressing the symptoms of schizophrenia without causing cardiovascular and metabolic abnormalities, or motor impairments. Further, ITI-007 was shown effective at a dose that did not cause adverse effects displayed by existing antipsychotic drugs that tend to lead to high rates of noncompliance by the patients who most need these drugs. ITI-007 is now in Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of schizophrenia.

Der Preis soll bei 29,5 Doller liegen das ist denke ich ok.
Ich halte das auch für den richtigen Zeitpunkt, so haben die keinen stress und zwang bei der Vermaktung weil 300 Mio Doller in der Kasse sind. Denke kurzfristig gehts vielleicht nochmal runter aber dann laufen wir schön up.
